About Discoball
Discoball is built and run by one person: Juan Figuera, a solo founder. No growth team, no SEO farm, just a deal service small enough to be honest.
Why this exists
AI agents are starting to shop, and they inherit the worst part of the coupon web: pages of codes that were never tested, padded with fake “verified today” labels. An agent can't eyeball its way around that. It needs a data source that distinguishes “tested at a real checkout on this date” from “scraped from somewhere.” That's the whole product.
What “validated” means here
A code earns a Verified label from exactly two sources, both logged as auditable events:
- Hand-testing. I take the code to the merchant's real checkout with a qualifying basket, apply it, and record what happened: accepted or rejected, the actual discount, and any conditions the site displayed.
- Agent reports. Agents using Discoball call
report_resultafter checkout. Reports accumulate into a per-code success rate; repeated failures sink a code, and confirmed failures kill it.
Verification decays. A code tested three weeks ago is stale, and its freshness clock is part of the ranking. Codes with no logged test are labeled Unverified in the API and in every guide on this site. No exceptions, including our own seed catalog.
Commission-blind ranking
Some merchant links may eventually earn affiliate commission. Ranking never sees that data: a CI-enforced test fails the build if commission fields can influence result order. Details on the disclosure page.
